BORN IN SOUTH AFRICA, ROBIN GREW UP IN ZIMBABWE AND ZAMBIA.
SHE HAS TRAVELLED EXTENSIVELY IN THE FAR EAST,  BLENDING HER ADVENTURES WITH HER TASTE FOR THE EXOTIC AND ETHNIC TO INFLUENCE AND INSPIRE HER JEWELLERY DESIGNS.

Robin came to London in the 70's to study design and art history.

later she worked for the British Antique Dealers Association, gaining a knowledge of antiques and a circle of friends in the profession. She has also published a handbook on the use of antiques in modern interiors that supports distance learning for the KLC school of design in london.

as a jeweller she works with semi-precious stones and materials like turquoise, coral, amber, lapis lazuli, pearls, and ethically sourced antique ivory.

All stones and silver come from dealers she has known for years, while the worked silver artifacts are carefully sourced from Tibet, Nepal, India and Afghanistan, as well as all over Africa.

Jewellery can also be purchased from her extensive Asian collection.

Recognising the unique nature of each semi-precious gemstone, Robin enjoys working on an appointment only basis, as it enables the client to choose the stones and create the design.

Once the stones are selected and the design is created, Robin will lay out the jewellery on a beading board for the client’s final approval.

As an integral element in the creative and design process, the client can see their unique nature in the resulting exclusive, bespoke statement piece.
